Types of Translation

Benefit from professional translation services delivered with meticulous attention to detail, accurate terminology, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Standard translations

A standard translation is the translation of a text that can be performed by any qualified translator, including a non-certified translator. It does not have official legal validity and does not include an authorized signature or stamp. Standard translations are typically intended for personal use, text comprehension purposes, or other non-official documents.

Certified translations

A certified translation is completed by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice. The translator certifies the translation by applying their signature, official stamp, and a certification statement confirming that the translation is a true and accurate rendition of the original document. A certified translation has official legal validity and can be submitted to various public institutions and authorities.

Notarized translations

A notarized translation is a certified translation prepared by a sworn translator and subsequently notarized by a public notary. The notary confirms the authenticity of the authorized translator's signature and issues the notarization certificate. This type of translation carries the highest level of official recognition.

How Are the Rates Calculated?

1. Language Pairs

An additional fee applies to translations performed from one foreign language into another foreign language

2. Level of Text Specialisation

Technical, medical, and other specialised translations require a tailored quote for each project

3. The number of pages and the requested delivery time frame

Translation rates are generally calculated based on a standard translation page of 2,000 characters including spaces, in line with industry-standard practices.

4. The need for a certified or notarized translation

The notarisation of a translated document requires the original document. For notarised translations, the notary public's fee will be added to the translation cost.
